What is the Holiday Directory?  The directory is an easy-to-use resource guide of volunteer opportunities throughout Orange County during the holiday season. Additionally, the directory will feature organizations' "wish lists" so community members can provide donations to those in need of additional support.

Who uses the Holiday Directory?  The directory is distributed to thousands of volunteers, nonprofits and community members, and will be available online through December 31, 2014. The volunteer opportunities listed in the Holiday Directory are directly connected to OneOC's online volunteer calendar, a comprehensive volunteer management solution that expands your capability to manage, track and report on volunteers and opportunities at the same time. We will be continually updating the Holiday Directory as projects come in through the end of the year.

Why should your organization participate? By participating in the 2014 Holiday Directory, your organization will gain increased visibility for your volunteer opportunities. Many of the volunteer opportunities listed in the Holiday Directory may also be featured in the Orange County Register throughout the months of November and December, as well as the Orange County Register's Gift of Giving guide. The guide is distributed to all 325,000+ subscribers and will be given out to the 1,000+ attendees at the National Day of Philanthropy luncheon held in November.

How to participate: We need your holiday volunteer listings now! In order to post your volunteer opportunities, nonprofits are asked to participate in a free, one-hour webinar which teaches you how to utilize the volunteer management tool to post your own volunteer opportunities. Sign up today and be included in the 2014 Holiday Directory.
