2018 Combined Corporate Volunteer Project Impact Report

Overview

On Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 2018, the CVCOC help fight hunger in Orange County with a service project at The Giving Farm in Westminster High School:

  • Over 300 company volunteers and their families from 21 local, community-minded companies
  • The largest remaining public school farm in Orange County, The Giving Farm is at the heart of an initiative to grow fresh produce for the Orange County Food Bank to give to those in need
  • Various beautification, restoration, and preparation projects on the farm to help grow its capacity to produce more fruits and vegetables to serve the community
