About 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance

This national service day honors the lives impacted by the events on September, 11, 2001, focused on “Remembrance through Service.” Throughout this month of compassion, OneOC sponsors county-wide service projects and toolkits that engage volunteers of all ages, as well as support our troops, veterans, and disaster preparedness, benefiting all of our American heroes. Since 2011, over 10,000 Orange County volunteers have participated in this national initiative in collaboration with OneOC.

Family Service Team (FST)

OneOC Family Service Team (FST) projects are designed to provide children and their families a simple and organized way to build volunteerism into daily family life. Teams of family volunteers serve together as part of our national Days of Service, having fun for a good cause, while learning about the importance of giving of their time and talent to make a difference in our community. Projects that meet Family Service criteria will be denoted by FST in the title. Individuals can create their own Family Team (please add FST at the beginning of your title) or join a Public FST Team at any time.
